Add all ingredients to a sauce pan and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Great for baked beans (just mix with a can of great northern beans), bbq sandwiches (just roast shredded carrots and onion at 450 for 45 minutes, then combine with sauce), as a baked potato topping, or any time you are looking for a delicious, easy, barbecue sauce.
- 2.5 c no sugar added ketchup (such as Dr. Furhman brand)
- 8 T apple cider vinegar
- 2 T garlic powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 – 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 T vegan Worcestershire
- 1 c blackstrap molasses
- 1/2 c date sugar
