This gravy uses Miyoko Schinner’s light yeast flavoring powder. You can make up a big batch and store what’s left over in the pantry.
- 1/2 cup brown rice flour
- 4 T nutritional yeast
- 1 T light yeast flavoring powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 T miso
- 2 T vegan butter
- Combine dry ingredients in saucepan and toast for a couple of minutes.
- Add broth and whisk.
- Add rest of ingredients and simmer until thickened.
