This gravy uses Miyoko Schinner’s light yeast flavoring powder. You can make up a big batch and store what’s left over in the pantry.

  • 1/2 cup brown rice flour
  • T nutritional yeast
  • 1 T light yeast flavoring powder
  • tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • tsp black pepper
  • cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 T miso
  • 2 T vegan butter
  1. Combine dry ingredients in saucepan and toast for a couple of minutes.
  2. Add broth and whisk.
  3. Add rest of ingredients and simmer until thickened.
